Backdraft Woodworking, L.L.C. ("Backdraft Woodworking," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Backdraft Woodworking Android application. This Privacy Policy describes version 1.0 of the application identified by package name com.backdraft.woodworking.custom.furniture. The application is intended for users in the United States and provides furniture discovery, local room-planning tools, favorites, a shopping cart, locally stored cash-order management, and support information.
This offline build does not create a user account, connect to an application backend, use analytics, serve advertising, or transmit app activity to us. If you choose to enter delivery details or type information into a support or review form, those values are used only for the local feature you selected and remain in app-private storage on your device.
The app does not request or collect device location, photos, camera content, files, microphone recordings, contacts, phone history, SMS, calendar data, Bluetooth information, nearby-device information, notification identifiers, biometric information, advertising identifiers, payment-card details, bank information, wallet details, or account passwords.
The app uses Android SharedPreferences to store onboarding status, product favorites, cart quantities, recently viewed products, saved room designs, notification read state, settings, appearance preference, delivery-address fields, locally created order summaries, cancellation state, and similar feature preferences. This information is stored within the app's private local storage.
Delivery address fields are used to prepare the local Cash on Delivery order summary. Support-form drafts and product reviews are validated inside the app; this offline build does not send them to a server. The support screen clearly displays info@backdraftwoodworking.online for communication outside the app.
The app requests no dangerous or runtime permissions. It does not request camera, photos, files, storage, location, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS, calendar, Bluetooth, nearby devices, notifications, or biometric access. Room redesign and AR-style furniture preview features use bundled sample-room photographs and do not access the device camera or photo library.
Version 1.0 does not declare the Android INTERNET permission. It contains no analytics, advertising, payment, map, social-login, crash-reporting, or cloud-storage SDK. Product and interior photographs were downloaded and bundled during development; the app does not fetch those images at runtime. Source references are listed in IMAGE_SOURCES.txt within the project.
Checkout supports Cash on Delivery only. The app does not request or store card, bank, wallet, transfer, or online-payment credentials. Order statuses in this offline build are stored locally and are presented as local progress examples, not as live workshop, inventory, or courier tracking.
This build does not transmit, sell, rent, or share local app data with Backdraft Woodworking, advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or payment processors. Information you independently send through your own email service is governed by that service and the communication you choose to make.
Local data remains until you remove relevant items, clear app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling normally removes app-private local data, subject to Android device-transfer and backup behavior. The project excludes its private preference file from the configured backup rules.
Local feature data is kept in Android app-private storage. No storage method or device is absolutely secure. Protect access to your device and do not enter highly sensitive information in free-text fields.
This general-audience furniture and room-planning app is not directed to children under 13. The offline build does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
You may browse furniture, room ideas, and information without an account. You may choose not to enter an address, support-form content, or a review. You may remove favorites and cart items, change settings, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy when app functionality, dependencies, or applicable requirements change. A future version will show a revised effective date and policy that matches its implemented behavior.
